Beginning Meditation Course through San Francisco Insight. I will be co-leading this course with my friend and colleague Paul Irving for 5 Tuesday evenings starting on March 6, 2018. This course is available to people of every race, nationality, class, age, gender, sexual orientation and physical ability. Included in the program is an all-day retreat. Participants are asked to practice mindfulness meditation and/or mindful movement each day. It is helpful to plan ahead to consider how you will implement these practices into your schedule.

This is a fantastic program for those challenged by the everyday stress, as well as those living with anxiety, depression, difficulty sleeping, chronic pain or living with illness. This program also wakes people up to create healthy changes in relationships with work and home life.

Each class includes guided instruction of mindfulness practices and discussions on working with a variety of topics such as stress reactivity, stress response, stress hardiness, awareness of how we react to pleasant and unpleasant experiences, mindfulness of technology and mindful listening and speaking.

WHEN: TUESDAY’S 7PM-9:30PM MARCH 6, 13, 20, 27, & APRIL 3 (and includes a daylong practice on Sat March 24).
