Throughout life we vacillate through times of feeling the wind at our backs with a sense that we are in the flow and right on track with life. Other times roadblocks put the brakes on the flow. How we meet that moment is up to us. We can deny there is a problem, dig our heels in and force things to stay the same. We can take a step back and explore what really is happening.
Wendell Berry writes about it here:
“It may be that when we no longer know what to do,
we have come to our real work
and when we no longer know which way to go,
we have come to our real journey.
If you have met anyone stuck in a rut for years, you know how depressing it can be. Manifesting change becomes more challenging with each day we remain stagnant. When we get frustrated with inertia, there is hope because the status quo is no longer acceptable. What about your life is working for you? Meeting this roadblock as an opportunity to create growth and change rather than remain stagnant. What is it that you value? What are you willing to commit to?
